In a world where conformity typically holds dominion, there's an undeniable freshness that accompanies embracing one's rebellious spirit. But hold on a second!
I would say the last few years have shown how the majority of The Masses do NOT question Authority.
How did the Human Race become so docile & "conditioned"??? I know that in my schooling & my childhood religion I was never taught Critical Thinking....I didn't start questioning anything until age 70 & then only because my life had been ruined by the Religious Belief System I had been a part of!! It has taken me 8 years, but I can say from experience that Belief Systems are just THAT.....something we accept as being true without questioning the roots it comes from. Why else would we humans, who do have empathy for other human beings, be drawn into k*lling each other over Belief Systems??? I would say we need all the Rebels we can get!! Sometimes it just takes one person asking a question in a Social Circle which can influence others into thinking for themselves!! C'mon Rebels!!!! ;-)
I've been locked up for being a rebel. I intensely detest all kinds of infringement on indiviual liberties. I find the balance between inner peace and outer commitment real hard. I sometimes even rebelled against what was good for me, for all. This is my shame. Today I'm older and slightly more balanced.
