I moved to Thailand for a few years from the UK so your comment about creating home is somethig I am familiar with. Other expats would come and ask me "Pod, please make some scones" and when I returned to the UK for flying visits I carried a list of requests. Mainly teabags, bsdcuits, the occasional cheese.
Much later, after returing to the UK and losng all my money and most of my possessions, I had to learn to find home in my heart. Lady Isis said "Home is who you are not where you are"
I am hoping that I may have a chance to relocate to warmer climes for the last years of my life. I had my eye on Sri Lanka but you have brought Bali to my attention now. Thank you.
It was great to hear about you all. It is nice when you have someone to share even a little what is left. Take care of it and cherish.
I lost my husband during this era of plandemic. Pretty much not interested in many thing I was before. Know about what is going on thanks to Ole and many, many more others, but looking and thinking about it throughout a glasses without much of an interest. For me it is nicer without glasses though, there are no more wrinkles, no more idiocies around....

Kim, your hubby is a good being, therefore you must be the same for the time you have spent with him. It's a gentle surprise to read a substack containing sincere' humaness'. I like your style of writing, honest and sincere. I believe we are all going through some form of transformation, each unique to each other. Continue your writing.
