Starting Again, But Different
Reflections on Crypto, AI, Holistic Health, and Spirituality from a Grounded Place
Hi beautiful one,
I hope all is well with you. I am slowly starting to get going here again after a long break.
There’s something about watching the seasons change that reminds me how growth rarely looks dramatic while it’s happening. It’s quiet. Incremental. Mostly invisible. That’s how most of my creative work has felt lately, a series of micro-decisions, unseen experiments, and course corrections that no one claps for. But this is the part that matters.
Lately, I’ve been reworking how I share my work, my thoughts, and even how I show up online. It’s been slower than I expected, partly because I’ve been resisting the idea of needing to perform and do all the time. I’ve been slowly rethinking how I want to show up. Not louder. Just clearer.
So this is me, starting again, from a quieter, more grounded place, in the areas I’m dipping into on a daily basis.
· Crypto for beginners. I’ve been in crypto for over 7 years and truly believe it is an amazing currency. It’s a game, yes, but if you play it safe, or as safe as possible, and have a good strategy, it is very rewarding. So I will be sharing no hype, just simple breakdowns and reflections on how this space is evolving. And how to start. It’s not that complicated.
· AI I study daily and use. I will be digging into the possibilities, the risks, and how it’s shaping our future, creativity, and humanity, the pros, the cons, and all the bits in between.
· Holistic health. I do not trust big pharma at all. I usually say they are legalized drug dealers that do more harm than good. A healed client is a loss in the billion-dollar industry they are running. Medicine can mostly be found in nature. Ayurveda and Chinese medicine are my first go-to should anything be in dis-ease. It saved my husband Ole’s gall bladder that they urgently wanted to take out.
· Spirituality, the foundation I stand on. I love the yoga philosophy, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, and my beautiful mentor and spiritual teacher Nalanieji, who has been in my life since 2006. Without her teachings, I would not be who I am today. I want to talk about the kind that helps you remember who you are, in joy and lightness.
And I’m excited (and a bit nervous) to say that hubby Ole and I will be bringing back our Sofa Talks. They won’t be polished, just honest conversations about what we’re navigating, in life, in work, in the messy space between. I’ll be sharing our videos here.
It won’t be perfect. But it will be real. And for now, that feels like a good place to begin again.
You’ll hear more from me soon, sometimes in writing, sometimes as a voiceover layered over my private nature/travel videos or a me video.
If this speaks to you, I’d love for you to stick around. Share it, comment, or just take what resonates.
We don’t need to go fast.
We just need to go real.
Until next time, be grateful and stay curious, always.
Much love,
Kim
This Grandma sending a hug to each of you!! Thanks for all the years of work you both have put in!! We Love You!!! ;-)
Nice to have you back with all your reflections. In reference to big pharma, I feel the same. I'm 72 and do self care. My health is great, I do zero pharmaceuticals and yes, they are a big entity not interested in health , but rather maintenance of symptoms. Health is a state of mind and more importantly how we think. Many of the people around me are much younger and basically falling apart. I notice the way they talk and react to life. Victimization is their primary thought. I choose another direction. I always tell people that I am not lucky. I do know the 'rules' better than most. Here is a question: If you know the rules of a game better than most, Aren't you going to play the game better? You decide! Thanks for a positive space to share life thoughts in!!
