IT'S MY BIRTHDAY AND I HAVE A REQUEST
Hi dear one,
Another year around the sun. Allegedly wiser, definitely still confused, just on a higher level. Which I’m told is progress.
Next year is a big one. The one that starts with a six. I’m not dreading it, I’m actually kind of here for it. But this year, 59, feels like the inhale before something shifts.
And somewhere in this past year, between the questions I still can’t answer and the ones I finally stopped asking, I got clearer about this little corner of the internet and why it matters to me. You matter to me. The conversations we’re having here, about AI, about staying human inside all of it, about what yogic philosophy actually has to say about this strange moment we’re all living through, I don’t take any of that lightly.
So for my birthday, one ask. Simple, friendly and honest.
If you’ve been reading and enjoying and maybe thinking about supporting me by going paid, today is the day. Not because of a discount or a bonus. Just because it’s my birthday and it would genuinely make me super happy and pay for my coconuts in Bali. It's only 5 euros a month or 50 for the whole year.

Happy Birthday Bali lady!! Many more to come!! If someone told me when I was in my forties that after 70 would be one of the 'coolest' times of my life, I would have never believed it! Well here I am at 73 and yes, it is a very 'cool' time! Good health, good movement, still working doing what I enjoy which is building and remodeling. I am extremely grateful and blessed. I'm not lucky, I just know the rules of the game better than most people my age!! Rule #1. No complaining! Rule #2, Be grateful.... It's the driving force! Rule #3, Don't talk about your maladies! No one cares, except to complain! Rule #4 Reread Rules 1,2,3 over and over!!
